This hunting lease is leased and not available. Base Camp Leasing has a 37 acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Madison County, New York. This hunting lease is located less than 20 miles south-west of Utica, New York. The property consists of 2 crop fields ( about 16 acres) and a woods of 21 acres. There is a nice access road that gets you to the property. The landowner will allow driving on the east edge (see map) of the crop field to get back to the woods. Recommend truck or ATV only. On my inspection I saw excellent deer sign. The back hidden field was loaded with deer beds all along the west side of it. The property is loaded with apple trees. The woods was logged in the past. The woods consists of many apple trees and a really thick section along the west field edge. There is an old logging trail that is in good shape that circles through the woods. I did this circle and put a bunch of deer across the field in front of the landowner. He reported that he often sees a herd of 20 or more in the area as well as turkeys. This property will have 3 or 4 excellent stand sites that should see a lot of deer. This property would be ideal for a father and son or daughter. I get a lot of requests for hunting leases in Madison County. This lease will go quickly. ATV use is authorized for hunting purposes only. The landowner recommends posting of the property. Please stay off the crop fields with ATV and Vehicles except for eastern edge.
